About the event
In the digital era, international dialogue is no longer shaped solely through governments and formal diplomatic channels. Culture, creativity, and civil society now play an equally vital role in shaping how stories are told and shared across borders. In this talk, Kuo Chia-Yu, Chairman of the Taiwan Digital Diplomacy Association, will share how he uses innovative technologies and cultural initiatives to help Taiwan be seen, heard, and understood within global networks.
The lecture explores how narrative can become a force for building trust and connection, and how Taiwan, through art, design, community engagement, and civic participation, has shaped an open, diverse, and inclusive international presence.
The talk invites audiences to reflect on key questions:
In an age of information overload and blurred truths, how can culture redefine the possibilities of diplomacy? How can creativity enable the story of a place to travel beyond language and borders, becoming a shared language for the world?
