About the event
Veronika Koller brings stories from her research on how language shapes public debates on marriage equality and gender rights across Europe—and how these narratives influence political divides.
Attorney Ling-Wei Li, Taiwan’s first openly transgender lawyer, brings stories from the frontlines of legal practice. For over 16 years, she has walked with women, LGBTQ+, trans, and nonbinary clients through a system still learning how to understand them.
This dialogue isn’t abstract theory.
It’s lived experience, real challenges, and the human side of gender equality.
